- 초록/해제
- 요약The growing salience of digital markets calls for new models that analyze market behaviors in the presence of the massive collection of consumer data, market powers for consumer attention, and the ability to offer sophisticated mechanisms for digital service. My dissertation consists of three papers focusing on different aspects of digital markets. Chapter 1 studies the implication of having consumer data on the dynamic pricing policy of experience good such as streaming services and subscription services. Chapter 2 studies the social dimension of consumer data, where the data externality makes consumers dramatically under-evaluate the consequences of sharing their data. Chapter 3 studies the platform's optimal robust pricing policy, which utilizes the monopoly power over consumer attention to sell advertisement/disclosure services.
