- 요약The Doctoral Performance and Research submitted by Leonardo Quintero, under the direction of Professor Javier Calderon at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in the fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Doctor of Musical Arts consists of the following:I. Written Project: "A Comparison Between Learning the Classical Guitar and Fighting Videogames"This 91-page written project compares the learning process between classical guitar and fighting videogames. Exploring the first three stages of Stuart E. Dreyfus' "Five Stage Model of Adult Skill Acquisition," this project explores and analyzes how each domain is learned and taught respectively and comparatively, showcasing similarities. Can guitar pedagogy learn from how designers teach fighting videogames? Can fighting games teach the player differently by applying guitar methodology? Why is this research relevant to the current direction of teaching both mediums? Includes bibliography and appendix.II.
