- 요약This thesis proposes the concept of estetica de lo terrestrial as a method to approach aesthetic artifacts to imagine ways of "doing world" beyond catastrophic scenarios. Therefore, it analyzes the representation of different ends of the world as aesthetic figures focusing on an intermedial constellation that merges diverse materials that spans from narrative fiction (2666, from Roberto Bolano), sculpture (Frans Krajcberg work in Sitio Natura), images (Claudia Andujar´s photography in Yanomami territory), and a first-person account of a Yanomami shaman (A queda do ceu from Davi Kopenawa and Bruce Albert). The constellation of materials analyzed pose in themselves a network of reflection whose critical exercise seeks to go beyond anthropocentric assumptions, and instead, tries to shape an example of critica de lo terrestrial engaging on the one hand with the recent ongoing debates regarding Latin-American ecocriticism studies and on the other with the public debate of Anthropocene, that has been mostly concentrated in Anglo-American and European universities.

- 요약sta tesis propone el concepto de estetica de lo terrestrial como metodo para aproximarse a artefactos esteticos e imaginar maneras de "hacer mundo" mas alla de escenarios catastroficos. Para ello, analiza la representacion de distintos fines del mundo como figuras esteticas centrandose en una constelacion intermedial que fusiona diversos materiales que abarcan desde la ficcion narrativa (2666, de Roberto Bolano), la escultura (la obra de Frans Krajcberg en Sitio Natura), las imagenes (la fotografia de Claudia Andujar en territorio Yanomami) y el relato en primera persona de un chaman Yanomami (A queda do ceu de Davi Kopenawa y Bruce Albert). La constelacion de materiales analizados plantea en si misma una red de reflexion cuyo ejercicio critico busca ir mas alla de los supuestos antropocentricos y, en cambio, intenta dar forma a un ejemplo de critica de lo terrestrial que se involucra, por un lado, con los recientes debates en torno a los estudios de ecocritica latinoamericanos y, por otro, con el debate publico sobre el Antropoceno, que se ha concentrado principalmente en las universidades angloamericanas y europeas.
