요약We make a detailed study of local and global shtuka and their associated moduli stacks. Using an approach generalizing earlier work of Zink, Mantovan, and Caraiani- Scholze in the number field setting, we construct Igusa varieties associated to quite general reductive algebraic groups over the function field of an algebraic curve over a finite field. Using these Igusa varieties we uniformize the Newton strata of the special fibers of the moduli stacks of global G-shtuka with certain global boundedness conditions, when the group G is everywhere tamely ramified. Using this uniformization we give a formula for the l-adic cohomology of these Newton strata with constant coefficients. We also prove the existence of certain natural isomorphisms of Igusa varieties associated to groups G, G' which are extended pure inner forms.
