- 요약The general focus of my research has been on characterizing quantum non-equilibrium dynamics. However, this characterization often comes through connections to quantum equilibrium physics, classical nonequilibrium dynamics, and even classical equilibrium physics (such as classical stat mech models for quantum error correction, which is a highly non-equilibrium quantum process)! Under this broad umbrella, I have worked on roughly three main areas: characterizing quantum scars (eigenstates with outlier expectation values) through symmetries, understanding interactive quantum dynamics (combining unitary evolution, controlled measurements, and feedback conditioned on measurement outcomes), and exploring quantum error correction and its many connections to different areas of physics.
