- 요약The marching arts are an important subsection of music education and performance which offers students valuable experience in preparation for their professional music careers. This document serves as a resource for students and instructors alike, preparing them for what participation in the marching arts entails. Through a combination of personal experience, direct interviews with expert pedagogues, and a comprehensive literature review, this document provides an in-depth look at many of the benefits found within the marching arts. While there are many positive reasons for participating, this document also addresses some of the common concerns against participation in these activities. With each chapter tailored to either music students or applied lessons instructors, this document offers practical resources to ensure that all musicians are properly informed of how to succeed both in and outside of the marching arts.
