- 요약Semantic memory has been studied extensively in two lines of research: one using overt behaviors like reaction times and another using covert brain behaviors like Event-Related Potentials (ERPs). This dissertation explores issues in both lines of research. CHAPTER 2: BEHAVIOR evaluates the task-appropriate hypothesis in overt reaction time priming, widely taken to reflect the access of semantic memory. CHAPTER 3: BRAIN WAVES explores using a Large Language Model (LLM) to model the N400 ERP, a covert brain wave that is also widely taken to reflect the access of semantic memory.
