- 요약This document is divided into two main parts. The first part of the document will primarily center on the selected works from Jatekok by Gyorgy Kurtag, examining how both historical and contemporary influences shape his creative work. This study will encompass six pairs of works, and each pair includes one piece from Jatekok by Kurtag and one selected composition by a composer to whom Kurtag pays hommage. The first pair features "Hommage a Domenico Scarlatti" from Jatekok by Gyorgy Kurtag and Sonata in A Major, K. 113 by Domenico Scarlatti. The second pair presents "Hommage a Schubert" from Jatekok by Gyorgy Kurtag with Moment musicaux, D. 780, No. 6 by Franz Schubert. The third pair is "Waltz (Hommage a Shostakovich)" from Jatekok by Gyorgy Kurtag alongside "Polka" from The Golden Age, Op. 22, No. 30 by Dmitri Shostakovich. The fourth pair brings side by side "Les Adieux (in Janaceks Manier)" from Jatekok by Gyorgy Kurtag with On an Overgrown Path, III. "Come with Us!" by Leos Janacek. The fifth pair features "Ligatura for Ligeti" from Jatekok by Gyorgy Kurtag and "Fem," Etude No. 8 from Etudes by Gyorgy Ligeti. The final group includes Gyorgy Kurtag's "Hommage a Bartok" from Jatekok and Bela Bartok's Allegro barbaro, BB 63. Each of these pairs will be the subject of detailed discussions, and the interplay between the past and present will be closely examined within the context of their musical works. The second part of this document delves into the work of contemporary composers who pay homage to Gyorgy Kurtag with their compositions. This section includes Eight Flowers (a bouquet for Gyorgy Kurtag) (2006) by Amos Elkana, "Hommage a Kurtag" (2010) by Brett Dean, Portraits (for a quiet end) (2019) by Amadeus Regucera, and Dances of the Brush-footed Butterfly (2012) by Peter Eotvos. It examines the idea of musical reflections on the past and present and explores how twenty-first century composers incorporated Gyorgy Kurtag's compositional language into their work, analyzing their compositional styles and the sources of their inspiration.
