- 요약This Written Project explores the variety of violin warm-ups students can learn through YouTube and emphasizes that this website is a credible resource. The reader will learn about the importance of warming up on the violin, the history of YouTube as well as its importance for people in the 21st century, various violin warm-ups as seen on YouTube, and warm-ups as well as rituals the author does before playing the violin. The warm-ups in this Written Project cover a variety of technical topics that can help the violinist be prepared, as well as potentially improve in playing. These topics include muscle warm-ups, warming up the left-hand fingers, warming up the right hand, warming up vibrato, warming up shifting, important warm-ups from the perspective of world-renown violinists and pedagogues and more. The author will comment on the benefits of these warm-ups. This project will inform the reader not only how to improve their violin playing, but it will emphasize how YouTube is an accessible resource beyond what they can learn through in-person violin lessons with their teacher or for those who do not have access to private lessons.
