- 요약The aim of this document is to provide clarinetists from beginners to professionals with the knowledge and resources necessary to make an informed decision when purchasing a new clarinet. This document is intended as a resource for both clarinetists as well as parents, band directors, private instructors, etc. The knowledge presented in the document covers the history of the clarinet, the history of current brands, information on certain aspects of clarinet manufacturing, and a catalogue of current models offered by the aforementioned brands.The first chapter is an introduction that explains the scope of this document. The second chapter discusses the history of the instrument itself with some additional information on important manufacturers in the clarinet's early development. The third chapter contains brief histories of the individual brands and some specifics about what they offer today. The fourth chapter is a detailed analysis of different aspects of clarinet manufacturing. These aspects include body material, key and post material, key mechanisms, pads and key materials, etc. The fifth chapter includes the catalogue of current Bb Boehm-system clarinet models listed by brand in alphabetical order. These entries include the model name, a picture of the model, a classification of the model (custom/student/intermediate/professional) as prescribed by the brand, the information accompanying the model on the brand's website (when applicable), and a short discussion about the features of each. The document ends with a conclusion of the presented material alongside a proposal for further research.
