■520    ▼aThis  recording  project  presents  four  newly  composed  art  songs  by  Yunfei  Li  commissioned  by  the  author.  The  works  were  inspired  by  the  poetry  of  Emily  Dickinson.  The  project  aims  to  expand  the  repertoire  of  contemporary  art  songs  and  specifically  support  and  highlight  the  creative  work  of  a  talented  woman  composer.  Dickinson's  poetry  features  concise  language  and  emotional  depth,  making  it  ideal  for  musical  interpretation.  Yunfei  Li's  pieces  capture  the  essence  of  the  poems,  creating  a  space  where  literature,  music,  and  Eastern  and  Western  perspectives  come  together.  The  process  of  producing  and  recording  the  work  involved  collaboration  with  the  composer,  which  deepened  the  author's  understanding  of  musical  interpretation  and  the  practical  aspects  of  art  song  creation.  This  project  is  significant  for  fostering  interest  in  the  works  of  a  contemporary  female  composer  and  emphasizing  the  importance  of  a  repertoire  that  reflects  diverse  cultural  backgrounds.
