- 초록/해제
- 요약This dissertation examines the origins and consequences of firms' labor market power-a key source of income inequality-by leveraging various economic and policy shocks, including technological change, a public employment program, and foreign capital liberalization. The findings suggest that automation threat, changes in workforce composition, and labor reallocation across firms are important drivers of employer power in the labor markets. The dissertation also provides evidence that capital market integration reduces labor misallocation through increasing labor market competition.
