초록/해제
요약This dissertation portfolio investigates the expressive and structural roles of hypermeter and phrase rhythm in Franz Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata. By examining how rhythmic expectation and metric grouping shape listener perception, the study reveals how Schubert manipulates form, cadence, and phrase structure to create narrative tension and resolution across all three movements of the sonata. This portfolio presents analytical frameworks through a multimedia portfolio. This includes a live performance, a lecture on hypermeter, and a series of analytical video essays. The study bridges music theory and performance by demonstrating how metrical design and phrase rhythm inform expressive decision-making, enriching both academic understanding and artistic interpretation of this overlooked yet structurally rich work.
